Common phrases like “they died for our freedoms” and “we are safe because of their sacrifices” are uttered by nearly everyone. The propaganda is effective in reducing criticism of US foreign policy because the legacy of the Americans who died fighting the wars is tied to the legacy of the war. I explain the best way to honor America soldiers is to not send them into meaningless wars.
