  • Election systems have been labeled critical infrastructure by President Obama. This puts the election system under increased watch from DHS. [Link]
  • A US Navy Destroyer fired three warning shots at 4 Iranian boats in the Strait of Hormuz. [Link]
  • The US added more sanctions on Russia. Five Russian officials were added to the blacklist that prevents them from doing business with Americans and freezes any assets they have in America. [Link]

  • Support from the US has allowed the Syrian Kurds to declare their own autonomous area in Syria. This area continues to grow as Kurdish forces advance on Raqqa. [Link]
  • Saudi Arabia bombed a Yemeni school killing eight children and critically wounding 15 more. [Link]
  • Venezuela’s president hikes the minimum wage another 50% as hyperinflations continues in his country. In the past year, the minimum wage has been increased by over 500%. The minimum wage is now equal to $12 monthly. [Link]
