  • Trump says the US will begin issuing VISAs to people of all countries within the next 90 days. [Link]
  • Trump and the King of Saudi Arabia talk on the phone and agree to work to set up safe zones in Yemen and Syria. [Link]
  • Six people were killed in a Canadian mosque when two gunmen opened fire during evening prayers. Both gunmen are in custody. [Link]
  • Philippines president Duterte says the US is threatening regional stability by building a permanent arms depot within Philippines territory. [Link]
  • Philippines president Duterte is dissolving anti-drug police units. Philippines police officers were recently accused of kidnapping then killing a Korean man. [Link] 
  • One US soldier was killed, and three others were wounded during a raid against al-Qaeda in Yemen. The eight-year-old daughter of American citizen Anwar al-Awlaki was killed after being shot in the neck. [Link]
  • Updated reports from the US say that only 14 al-Qaeda members were killed in the raid and 16 civilians were killed as well. [Link] Yemeni officials report the number of al-Qaeda dead to be higher. [Link]
  • 120 were killed in fighting between the Houthi and pro-Saudi forces in Southwest Yemen. [Link]
