Connor discusses Biden’s trip to Israel where he signed a joint declaration with the Israeli Prime Minister committing the U.S. to use all of its “national power” to prevent Iran from gaining a nuclear weapon. Biden also said he would use force against Iran as a “last resort” and promised to kill the nuclear deal if Tehran demanded he remove the IRGC from the State Department’s Foreign Terrorist Organization blacklist. An adviser close to the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also said Iran is not arming itself with a nuclear weapon, but made clear that his country has the technical means to build a bomb.
Kyle talks about the dispute between the Saudis, the Israelis, and Biden over whether or not steps toward normalization between Tel Aviv and Riyadh have begun taking place. The Saudis say this is not the case. Kyle also covers the economic threat facing European states regarding the EU ban on Russian energy and the possibility that Moscow cuts off oil and gas supplies to the continent, the IMF is warning deep recessions are coming.
