People have rallied and rioted outside American embassies across the globe. 22 people were killed in Pakistan.

Several people attempted to storm the consulate in Karachi on Sunday morning. At least ten people were killed by gunfire while attempting to breach the diplomatic building. It is unclear if Pakistani security forces or American troops opened fire.

In a separate region, 12 people were killed by security forces when they attempted to attack UN facilities.

Pakistani security forces locked down the area around the US embassy in Islamabad.

In Iraq, protesters gathered at the entrance to the Green Zone in Baghdad and tried to force their way past security. Security used live fire and tear gas to push back the demonstrators.

Protesters also gathered outside US and Israeli embassies around the world to demonstrate against the attack on Iran.
