According to Israel Hayom, Israeli intelligence is drafting a dossier for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to present to President Donald Trump later this month. The intelligence will claim that Iran is rebuilding its nuclear capabilities, and the war against the Islamic Republic must resume.
The Addleson-funded outlet reported on Saturday that the dossier will assert that Tehran is reviving its nuclear program, rebuilding its missile stockpile, expanding its global terrorist activity, and increasing funding for Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Ansar Allah in Yemen.
The dossier will be presented to Trump by Netanyahu when the two leaders meet before the end of the month. During the meeting, the Israeli leader will attempt to convince the President that they must destroy the Iranian government to prevent a series of smaller wars.
In June, Israel launched an aggressive war against Iran, derailing nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington. Israel started the war knowing that the US would eventually be drawn into the conflict. Trump ordered the bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities and an American military base in Qatar was hit by missiles in response.
Israeli officials told Israel Hayom that Netanyahu will also argue that taking out the Iranian government will remove a weapons supply line for Russia, and increase pressure on President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine.
In addition to military action, Netanyahu intends to press Trump to step up sanctions on Iran to cause an economic collapse in the Islamic Republic.
