US News

  • Police arrested a vet – Joshua Graham Rohrer- for panhandling. During the arrest, police tased his service dog and refused to allow the vet to take his service dog with him. The dog was hit by a car and died. After the loss of his dog, Rohrer tried to commit suicide. [Link]
  • The White House walks back a requirement for all federal contractors to have all employees vaccinated by December 8th. [Link]

China

  • At a summit for Southeast Asian nations, Biden condemned China’s actions as coercive and said the US is committed to Taiwan. [Link]
  • Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley says China recently tested a hypersonic missile and said it was close to a Sputnik moment. [Link]
  • China says the US targeted it with over 2,000 spying missions in the past year. [Link]
  • Taiwan’s leader confirms US forces are training Taiwanese soldiers. [Link]
  • Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is encouraging other UN members to include Taiwan more. [Link]
