  • A labor dispute between the Bureau of Prisons and the BOP’s national union has prevented thousands of inmates from earning time credits. Time credits are earned through programs that decrease recidivation and were implemented under the FIRST STEP Act. [Link]
  • Colorado will pay the family of Elijah McClain $15 million after police and EMTs killed him with Ketamine. [Link]

Pentagon

  • Defense contractors say they could lose thousands of employees and have supply chain disruptions due to the covid-19 vaccine mandate. [Link]
  • Senator Bob Menendez introduced an amendment to the 2022 NDAA that would trigger massive sanctions on Russia if the president determined Russia invaded Ukraine. [Link]
