  • Lowes allows a vet to bring his service dog to work with him. The service dog allows the vet to deal with medical issues stemming from his service. [Link]
  • President Obama blocks the sale of a German semiconductor company to a Chinese company. Obama was able to stop the sale of all American-owned shares in the company on national security grounds. [Link]
  • Egypt arrests 45 people involved in an organ trafficking operation. [Link]
  • The UAE is conducting airstrikes in Libya. The airstrikes have resulted in multiple civilian deaths. [Link]
  • Iran ships 11 tons of heavy water to Oman and is in compliance with the Nuclear Deal. [Link]
  • A Greek court approves the extradition of 3 Turkish military officers involved in the July Turkey Coup. The court rejected the Turkish extradition request of three other military officers Sunday. [Link]
  • Saudi Arabia is supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan. The Taliban are seen as a way to contain Iran. [Link]
  • ISIS is moving its forces into East Mosul to counter the offensive from Iraqi military forces. The Iraqi military forces appear unprepared for this counteroffensive measure, and it will likely slow the Mosul liberation. [Link]
  • Syrian rebels abandon Aleppo’s Old City district. This gives the Syrian Government control over about 75% of the city. [Link]
