  • The government will release the first person held under the indefinite detention power. Adham Amin Hassoun finished his prison term in 2017 then his detention was continued without charge by the Trump admin. [Link]
  • Senate Democrats claim Trump did not give sufficient notice on his decision to withdraw from the Open Skies Treaty. [Link]
  • The US says it will hold more nuclear arms talks with Russia in July or August. The US continues to press for China to be a part of any agreement. [Link]
  • The US sailed a destroyer off the coast of Venezuela. [Link]

Mexico

  • Fifteen people were killed by assailants in Mexico. The attackers have not been identified. [Link]

Korea

Israel
