China

  • The US warns Serbia against buying Chinese made air defense. [Link]
  • China and the US are looking to de-escalate tensions in the South China Sea. China ordered its soldiers not to fire the first shot. [Link]

Middle East

  • The US significantly revised its UN resolution to extend the arms embargo on Iran. The US hopes the watered-down revision can pass the UNSC. [Link]
  • A Turkish drone strike in Iraq killed two Iraqi border guards and the driver of their vehicle. [Link]

South Sudan
