  • The US has finished building its Cyber Command at Fort Gordon. The US will now look to carry out offensive cyber operations. [Link]
  • Northrop Grumman wins a $13.3 billion contract to build the new ICBM. [Link]

China

  • US officials announce that some Chinese researchers and graduate students will not be given visas over concerns they will steal the research. [Link]
  • Taiwan carried out a missile test. China responded by its fighters flying in Taiwanese airspace. [Link]

Afghanistan 

  • The Taliban claim the Afghan government has fallen short in the prisoner swap and needs to release 100 of its members before talks begin. The Afghan government claims to have released all the prisoners they were required too. [Link]
