  • A woman got $40,000 returned to her from the TSA after she joined a class-action lawsuit. The TSA regularly will take cash from people traveling with over $5,000. [Link]
  • The US dropped drug charges against Mexico’s former defense minister. He had been held in the US for a month before he was returned to Mexico. [Link]
  • Hungary says it will buy its air defense system from Raytheon. [Link]
  • Senators Menendez, Murphy, and Paul will introduce four bills to block Trump’s $23 billion arms sale to the UAE. [Link]

Afghanistan

  • Australian special forces allegedly killed 39 defenseless Afghans. Nineteen soldiers could face charges. [Link]

Middle East

  • Trump sets a new red-line for attacking Iran. Trump plans to attack Iran if any American dies in the Middle East and the death can be tied to Iran. [Link]
  • The US imposes new sanctions on Iran. The sanctions target the Supreme Leader and other Iranian officials. [Link]
  • Israel and Gulf Arab states will push Biden to not simply reenter the JCPOA but push Biden for a more restrictive deal against Iran. [Link]
  • The US government releases data on civilians killed in the fight against ISIS. The US claims to have only killed 1,400 civilians. Airwars says the number is between 8,000 – 13,000. [Link]
