LMPD Shooting Probe Called ‘Inherently Flawed’

by | Oct 25, 2016

The daughters of an elderly, deaf man who was shot to death by cops for holding a tree saw allege that the local District Attorney’s office is “inherently” incapable of performing an honest investigation into the killing because they have a conflict of interest: they have to keep working with these same cops to prosecute cases in the future.

Why is it not standard in every state in the Union that a DA’s office from another county or district is in charge of such things? It should be.
