  • A woman sues NY Department of Human Rights for using a photo of her in an HIV ad campaign. DHR did not inform the woman her photo was being used. When she asked for DHR to stop using her photo, SHR refused unless the woman agreed she would not sue. A judge awarded her $125,000. [Link]
  • A 7-year-old girl dies in CBP custody. CBP denies responsibility for the death. [Link]
  • US made tear gas is being used to increasingly suppress protesters around the world. [Link]
