Sri Lanka

  • Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister was not informed of intelligence warning about the Easter Bombings because of a political feud with the country’s President. The Prime Minister has been unable to attend intelligence briefings. [Link]
  • ISIS claims responsibility for the bombings in Sri Lanka. The group did not provide any evidence for this claim. [Link]

Iran

  • Iran says it is not concerned about the US withdrawing waivers for US sanctions on Iranian oil. [Link]
  • South Korea will send a delegation to the US to lobby for waivers from Iranian oil sanctions. [Link]
  • Google blocks Iranian state media from YouTube and Gmail. [Link]

Israel

  • A 16-year-old Palestinian boy – who was handcuffed and blindfolded – was shot in the legs by an Israeli soldier. The soldiers were attempting the boy for allegedly throwing stones. [Link]
  • Netanyahu says he will attempt to name a Golan Heights settlement after Trump as thanks for Trump recognizing Israel’s claim to the territory.  [Link]
