  • People cleared by New York’s AG to be released due to coronavirus remain in prison. [Link]
  • Federal police ran an operation where they identified potential sex trafficking victims, had the women perform sexual acts, and then arrested them. [Link]
  • White House adviser Peter Navarro has been pushing for more weapon sales throughout the Trump presidency. Navarro’s push has been key to keeping Saudi Arabia supplied with arms as it commits war crimes in Yemen. [Link]

Afghanistan

  • The two men claiming to be Afghanistan’s president strike a power-sharing deal. Under the deal, Abdullah Abdullah will lead negotiations with the Taliban. [Link]
  • The Pentagon says it is continuing its drawdown from Afghanistan and is on pace to meet the timeline laid out in the agreement with the Taliban. [Link]
  • A Taliban suicide bomber attacked an intelligence agency building, killing seven Afghan soldiers. [Link]

Middle East
