  • A new bill calls for the FDA to regulate CBD as a dietary supplement. [Link]
  • Biden’s tax plan calls for 87,000 new IRS agents to monitor the activity of American bank accounts to check for unreported income. [Link]
  • Biden will look to require that crypto transactions over $10,000 must be reported. [Link]
  • An FBI agent is charged with bringing classified information to her home between 2004 and 2017. [Link]

Foreign Policy

  • Republican Senators have introduced a bill to reimpose sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline that Biden waived. [Link]
  • The US doesn’t have a grand bargain to offer North Korea. [Link]
  • NATO forces will continue to train Afghan forces outside of Afghanistan. [Link]

Israel

  • Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire that held over the weekend. [Link]

  • Iran is now refusing to give the IAEA some data from nuclear sites. The IAEA collected the data under the JCPOA that the US withdrew from in 2018. [Link]
