  • Jeffery Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell has been arrested in New Hampshire by the FBI on charges related to the dead sex trafficker. [Link]
  • Large US corporations are threatening to pull ads from Facebook in an effort to get the social network to censor more content. [Link]
  • Kareem Johnson was exonerated from death row. For every nine executions, one person is exonerated. [Link]
  • A WNBA start helped to free an innocent Missouri man from prison. [Link]
  • Bodycam footage shows National Park Ranger killing an unarmed man. The officer first fired a taser at Gage Lorentz without warning or reason. After the taser did not work, 26 seconds of body camera footage is missing. The camera turns back on as the park ranger executes Lorentz. [Link]

Foreign Policy

  • Federal prosecutors are arguing to a DC judge that the US should be allowed to seize Iranian tankers shipping fuel to Venezuela. [Link]
  • House Democrats worked with Rep. Liz Chaney to put a provision in the 2021 NDAA to limit Trump’s ability to draw down US troops in Afghanistan. [Link]
  • The House voted for a provision to the NDAA that ends US logistical support for Saudi’s genocide in Yemen. [Link]
  • The top US Air Force general says the Pentagon does not have enough money for both conventional and nuclear weapon upgrades. [Link]

Mexico

  • Gunmen killed 24 people at a rehab facility in Mexico. The facility was attacked last month, and ten people were killed. It is unclear who is attacking the facility. [Link]

Russia

  • Russians voted to pass a slate of constitutional changes. One change to the constitution will allow Putin to serve two more terms as president. [Link]
