  • Southern Separatists in Yemen are demanding the Saudi backed government remove Muslim Brotherhood members from the government. The separatists seized control of the city of Aden from the Saudi backed government. [Link] 

Africa

  • Several people were killed in fighting between al-Shabaab and the Somali government. A journalist was among the dead. [Link]
  • A suicide bomber killed five people in Chad. [Link]
