- The US will participate in war games with the Indian military in an area of India that is less than 62 miles away from the country’s disputed border with China, known as the Line of Actual Control. AWC
- About 10 warships each from China and Taiwan sailed at close quarters in the Taiwan Strait, with some Chinese vessels crossing the median line. Reuters

Israel’s Attack on Gaza
- The office of caretaker Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid confirmed on Sunday that a cease-fire with Palestinian militants would come into effect at 11:30 p.m. local time. DW
