  • Twitter suspends several accounts associated with the Cuban government. [Link]
  • Congress is expected to force through $250 million in military aid to Ukraine if Trump cuts it. [Link] The Trump administration decided to allow the military aid. [Link]

Guatemala

  • Guatemala deploys 2,000 troops to a region near their border with Mexico. Guatemala deployed the troops after drug traffickers killed their soldiers in the area. [Link]

Korea

  • South Korea plans to spend $239 billion on defense in the next five years. [Link]
  • Trump says he is willing to meet with Kim Jong-un later this year. [Link]

Afghanistan

  • A Taliban suicide bomber killed at least four Afghan special forces soldiers in Kabul. [Link]
