President Donald Trump’s envoy traveled to Moscow on Friday to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The talks followed a car bombing outside the city.

A top Russian military commander was killed by a car bomb near Moscow. The attack happened just hours before US envoy Steve Witkoff met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Zelensky at the Vatican during Pope Francis’s funeral. Prior to the talks with Zelensky, Trump said a peace deal was close.
