Reza Marashi from National Iranian American Council and formerly from the US State Department is on the show to discuss the recent Iranian elections. Marashi details the history of the elections, how Iranian politics work with the Supreme Leader, and what the Iranian people hope they voted for. The Obama and Trump administration’s policies towards Iran is also discussed, and some of the dangerous actions both have taken to increase the likelihood of a conflict.
