  • Two victims of the CIA torture program reached a settlement with Dr. James Mitchell and Dr. Bruce Jessen. Mitchell and Jessen were contracted by the CIA to design the torture program. [Link]
  • California police killed 157 police officers in 2016. [Link]
  • A father of five whose wife has stage four cancer was arrested for going to work and leaving his children home alone. A judge set a $25,000 bail for the father. [Link]
  • Scott Horton interviews Phil Giraldi on Russiagate. Giraldi discusses evidence that Seth Rich was the DNC email leaker. [Link]
  • National Review published an article listing several methods Trump could use to withdraw from the Iran deal. The article admits Iran is following the deal and suggests the US should try to get Iran to withdraw from the deal. [Link]
  • At least 14 people have been killed in a terror attack in Spain. The attacker used a van to run over several people. Spanish police have killed five people believed to be connected to the attack. [Link]
  • Steve Bannon said that there are no military solutions for North Korea. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff responded to Bannon’s statement by saying Trump ordered him to find military solutions. [Link]
  • One US soldier was killed and several others were injured fighting in Afghanistan. [Link]
  • The US carried out three airstrikes against al-Shabaab in Somalia. The US claims to have killed seven fighters. [Link]
  • Uganda has one million South Sudanese refugees living in the country. People in South Sudan are fleeing the country because of on going ethnic fighting. [Link]
  • US special operations forces will train the Lebanese Army to fight alongside Hezbollah against ISIS. The US is also providing the Lebanese Army with 32 armored vehicles. [Link]
  • US coalition airstrikes in Raqqa killed 59 civilians in three days. 21 children were among the dead. [Link]
  • An SDF spokesperson said he believes the US will remain in Syria for decades. [Link]
  • The Saudi coalition is responsible for 51% of child casualties in Yemen in the past year. The coalition is also responsible for 75% of attacks on schools and hospitals. [Link]
