Citizens have started to form protests of the president’s refusal to give up power. The president has responded by killing at least 34 protesters. [Link]
  • Car bombs in Mosul kill 23 people. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. [Link]
  • Turkish drones kill 29 civilians in Syria. This occurred after ISIS attacked Turkish troops and seized two Turkish tanks. [Link]
  • The Syrian army claimed victory in Aleppo as the last of the rebels were bussed out of the city. [Link]
