  • A New Jersey police officer has been cleared of any wrongdoing after he shot an armed 76-year-old man. The elderly man was in his home when the officer entered the house after bring incorrectly sent to the address by dispatchers. The man believed the officer was a home invader and was holding a shotgun when the officer killed him. [Link]
  • The Atlanta immigration enforcement office has arrested about 200 illegal immigrants in raids. The jurisdiction of this office covers three states. To combat deportations of illegal immigrants, anti-deportation advocates are pushing for all people who are being deported to appeal the deportation. They hope this strategery will jam up immigration courts. [Link]
  • Recently declassified documents show the CIA attempted to use psychics in 1979. [Link]
  • Two libertarian activists have been arrested in Cuba for peacefully promoting the ideas of limited government and free markets. The activists remain detained by the Cuban government. [Link]
