  • A US surveillance plane had an unsafe encounter with two Chinese fighters about 200 miles Southeast of Hong Kong. [Link]
  • North Korea carried out a third missile test in three weeks. [Link]
  • The Indian Central Reserve Police Force apprehended 130 members of a Maoist insurgency. The Maoists attacked and killed 25 members of the CRPF nearly a month ago. [Link]
  • Members of an elite Iraqi special forces unit were recorded committing war crimes including torture and murder. [Link]
  • US-backed Shi’ite militias in Iraq are nearing the border with Syria. If the militias chase ISIS over the border, they could fight ISIS in Syria and support Assad. [Link]

On Foreign Policy Focus #45, I respond to a Facebook comment that I hate America. I make the argument that I am critical of an American foreign policy that is harmful to the American people. Blowback, less wealth, a less stable Middle East, and declining morals are all consequences of US foreign policy for the American people. To improve America, you must oppose the awful foreign policy.
