Human Rights Watch Warns Gaza Communications Blackout Could Cover Up Atrocities

Human Rights Watch (HRW) issued a report explaining that the Israeli fuel embargo of Gaza will cause a near-total blackout of communications in Gaza. The group warned that the isolation could be used to cover up atrocities. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, said there is a need to investigate “extremely serious allegations of multiple and profound breaches” of humanitarian law in Gaza.

Netanyahu Ally Says PM’s Days Are Numbered

Israel Tells Palestinians To Evacuate City in Southern Gaza

Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets on a city in the southern half of the Gaza Strip, instructing Palestinians to flee the area. The evacuation notice suggests that Tel Aviv plans to ramp up its military operation in south Gaza. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant confirmed a ground invasion of the area would happen at some point.
