By Banning Russian Oil, Europe Forgot How It Won the Cold War

51626803467 abee695cf6 c

The European Union is close to reaching an agreement on banning the import of Russian oil. Some Eastern-European member states, particularly Hungary, are trying to obtain exemptions or delays on the implementation of the ban. All in all, however, it seems likely that many if not all EU members will soon agree to ban Russian crude oil completely within the next six months, while refined oil would be phased out by the end of 2022. The ban is only the latest EU disciplinary economic measure which the bloc has levelled against Russia. On February 24, the starting day of the Russian invasion...

The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act: From Propaganda to Censorship to Tyranny

jankowicz stephen king greenwald 02

Spectacle and theater have come to dominate the political arena today, even more so than ever before. Politicians are now celebrity oligarchs, who use tax revenues to promote their pet projects, and to enhance their personal investment portfolios, while pretending in scrupulously orchestrated performances to care about the populace from whom all of the money they squander is siphoned. Congresspersons who issue dire warnings about global warming jet across the world for photo ops with President Zelensky in Ukraine. The provision by the federal government of Peloton bicycle memberships to...

Lindsey Graham Spearheads U.S. Regime Change Effort in Russia

22085941284 b59f407e58 c

Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has whipped up U.S. opposition against Vladimir Putin like a would-be Stonewall Jackson. Even before the invasion, on February 22, 2022 Graham announced he’d be working with his Democratic colleagues to “create a task force of the Department of Justice, Department of State, Treasury, and maybe DOD to go after [Russian] oligarchs,” adding, “I want to see cops take apartments, fine art, and seize yachts from a bunch of thugs and crooks. I want to put money on the table to have more weapons for Ukraine to...

5/13/22 David Stockman on Washington’s Military Keynesianism

Download Episode. Scott interviews David Stockman about the war in Ukraine and the American economy. They begin by discussing the war in Ukraine. Stockman argues that the irrational motivator behind Washington’s actions is Trump-Derangement Syndrome — that Putin is a surrogate for Trump and you need to demonstrate blind hatred for him to be accepted. Next, they turn to the economy. Stockman recounts the trouble the American economy was in before the pandemic and war in Eastern Europe came about to make everything worse. Scott and Stockman end by discussing the painful path ahead....

The Long, Lucrative, and Bloody Road to World War III

representative adam kinzinger at hudson institute

Well, this war in Ukraine will last "months and years." At least, that is what the leaders of the D.C. foreign policy blob, the media, President Joe Biden’s men, Pentagon and NATO leadership have decided. Their plan is to pour oil on the flames and keep the fire raging. Also, Americans are going to have to cough up the dough for another massive aid package, with $20 billion worth of weapons to keep the blood flowing. In total, this next package will cost the taxpayer $33 billion. With Biden’s proposed $813 billion “defense” budget for 2023, the U.S. is spending more on the military and...

End No-Knock Raids So Cops Stop Killing Innocent Homeowners

no knock raids 1050x525

In the land of the free—thousands of times a year—American police officers kick in doors, smash windows, deploy tear gas, and explode flashbang grenades all to serve a single, often unarmed, individual with an arrest warrant. These militarized affronts on the homes and property of often entirely innocent individuals all too frequently end with the suffering of the innocent or loss of innocent life. Recently, in only a matter of weeks, two different innocent people were killed by police during these raids. Despite the fact that the officers yelled “police” as they broke into the homes...

Amelia Baca, 75, was killed by an officer with the Las Cruces Police Department on April 16, according to family members. The department took several days to release her name, however, her family confirmed with the Las Cruces Sun News that it was Baca who was killed. After 42 hours, the Las Cruces Police Department confirmed an officer shot and killed a woman on Saturday night. However, the news release...

We Want YOU to Keep The War Going

mal

The American people are allowing their blood soaked rulers in Washington to callously prolong the war in Ukraine. The complicit media  has propagandized and lied the American people into insisting Washington double down on all their worst aggressions. And so continues the hawks’ reckless gamble on World War 3 to spite President Vladimir Putin and - once and for all - destroy Russia.  President Joe Biden’s administration and other hawks do not want the war in Ukraine to end. They are not alone, some NATO member states prefer to see the war drag on indefinitely as well. As Libertarian...
