  • The Space Force views the moon as a militarized front. [Link]


  • Classified documents found at a UK bus stop shed light on recent global events. The documents show the US asked the UK to leave special operation forces behind in Afghanistan and the UK knew a planned ship route into Russia-claimed waters was likely to provoke a major response from Russia. [Link]


  • The US, NATO, and Ukraine are set to begin the massive Sea Breeze 2021 war games in the Black Sea. [Link]
  • Russia reports it successfully tested a new ICBM. [Link]


  • White House Spokesperson Jen Psaki says Afghanistan is not a winnable war. [Link]
  • The US carried out two drone strikes against the Taliban. [Link]
  • The Taliban says they have the ‘right to react’ if the US remains in Afghanistan past September 11th. [Link]
  • The Taliban says they are following the Doha Agreement by not taking any provincial capitals. [Link]

Middle East

  • The monitoring agreement between the IAEA and Iran has expired and a legislative leader in Iran says it will not be extended. Iran signed an agreement with the IAEA in February to continue monitoring Iran’s nuclear sites even though the US abandoned the JCPOA. [Link] 
  • The US bombed Shia militias in Iraq and Syria. The US claims that the groups are backed by Iran and carried out drone strikes on bases that house US soldiers in Iraq. The Shia militias said four of their fighters were killed. [Link]
  • ISIS claimed responsibility for an attack on an Iraqi power station. [Link]
  • A US official says the US will not be normalizing relations with Assad in Syria. The US warned other countries from considering normalizing relations with Assad. [Link]
  • An al-Shabaab attack left 30 dead in Somalia. [Link]
