VIDEO: Cop Tortures Pregnant Mother With Taser
For four months, Officer Leon Davis with the Springfield [Massachusetts] police department escaped accountability for a most disturbing act of using his taser on a pregnant woman—repeatedly—in a sickening attempt to inflict punishment. However, the actions by Davis were too much for the department to sweep under the rug, and this week Davis was arrested and charged for torturing a pregnant woman with his taser. Luckily for Davis’ victim, 27-year-old Bryonna Parrillo, Springfield officers were recently fitted with body cameras. Had Davis not recorded himself repeatedly tasering a pregnant...
Ron Paul Sits Down with Matt Kibbe for Longform Interview on Life & Liberty
In interviews, Ron Paul tends mainly to be asked about events of the day. These often-short interviews help Paul advance his goal of communicating the ideas of liberty. It is interesting and illuminating in a different way when Paul on occasion takes part in longer, in-depth interviews focused largely on himself and his relationship to libertarianism. A new interview of Paul by host Matt Kibbe at Kibbe on Liberty is such an in-depth interview. Much of the interview is focused on Paul’s life and its relation to libertarianism. The interview starts with Paul’s learning about Austrian...

Asking People To Be Educated Is A Lost Cause
Whenever there’s a crime in which multiple people are murdered by an assailant with a handgun or rifle people get excited. If you’ve never noticed go back and read their post-tragedy Tweets. It's their time to talk about “gun control.” Guns are a subject that very few of them know anything about. The meme above exposes a common fallacy that people on the Left, and even some people on the Right, love to spew. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard that to turn an AR-15 or AK-47 rifle into a “fully automatic machine-gun” all you need is a file. I’m sorry but it doesn’t work that way as you...

Maybe then, at the end of the day, something will change here.” Musician starts tax boycott as artists, gyms, cafes rebel against gov’t on virus Hemi Rudner declares he’s stopped paying taxes, calls on others to follow until more support given to self-employed; fitness chain rebrands to stay open, restaurants defy...
Boris Johnson: Israeli Annexation Against Law
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Tuesday that Israeli plans to annex parts of the West Bank would “amount to a breach of international law.” Asked in the House of Commons about possible sanctions on Israel over the West Bank settlements, Johnson said: “I believe that what is proposed by Israel would amount to a breach of international law. We have strongly objected. We believe profoundly in a two-state solution and we will continue to make that case.” Not that he's going to do anything about it.
David Stockman: Off The Charts!
From the Contracorner (paywall): It took 213 years and 43 presidents—-from George Washington to Dubya Bush—- to generate the first $6 trillion of public debt. Now a mad man in the Oval Office and a herd of Capitol Hill larcenists will be doing it in just 700 days. Actually, at the rate they are going we think it could be even worse. For instance, during the first six business days last April, Uncle Sam collected $87.5 billion in tax receipts, but this year during the same six days the take plummeted by 20% to just $70.1 billion; and that occurred before employer withholding payments were...
