Supporters of journalist Julian Assange and freedom of the press are holding international protests on October 8th. The founder of Wikileaks is set to be extradited to the United States. According to a new survey of Americans, a growing majority desire negotiations with Washington’s enemies. Americans Want to End Weapons Sales to Saudi Arabia, Split on Israel

A new poll shows nearly 70% of Americans want to end arms sales to Saudi Arabia and only a slight majority support selling arms to Israel.  “When survey takers were asked if the United States should continue its sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia, more than two-thirds responded negatively,” the Eurasia Group Foundation reported.
