Senator Rand Paul stopped an attempt by Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer from bringing a resolution to advance the senate vote on the house resolution to reverse President Trumps withdrawal of U.S. troops in Syria. Poll On Americans Attitude To Syria Pull-out

Of course their is a partisan divide among Republicans and Democrats. Among Democrats, 57 percent say they feel it was wrong to remove U.S. troops from the region. Despite criticism from leading Republicans, only 16 percent of GOP supporters think the withdrawal was the wrong call. Their is a large percentage of people that are undecided. The federal budget deficit for 2019 is estimated at $984 billion, a hefty 4.7 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) and the highest since 2012, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said on Monday. The difference between federal spending and revenue has only ever exceeded $1 trillion four times, in the period immediately following the global financial crisis.
