Actress Megan Fox recently claimed on social media that she and other Hollywood elites enjoy drinking each others blood, exciting those critical of Hollywood culture. In their minds it proves the evil, secret Pagan nature of the liberal American establishment. It's as though a sub-culture of drinking blood has never existed prior or that the symbolic drinking of blood and eating of the flesh of a body is not an already widely accepted ritual. In any case, a video of a woman boasting of her involvement in the voluntary ritual of blood drinking is upsetting to some. Drinking blood is bad....

Stan Lee versus the censors
Stan “The Man” Lee passed away on November 12 of last year at the age of 94. Lee was for years the main writer of Marvel comics, and he created, or helped create, many of the most iconic characters in comics, including Spiderman, the Hulk, Iron Man, X-Men, Thor, and Captain America. Lee and his team at Marvel were the first to give their heroes world problems. Peter Parker may have been Spiderman, but when not swinging on his web, he faces typical teenage problems. Lee’s characters also clashed with authority figures, including the government. While Superman and Batman were still...

Wonder Woman: How to Save the World
Spoiler alert: You will learn what the creators of the movie Wonder Woman suggest as the way to save the world. You will also be surprised by certain lines and messages in the movie that most people just aren’t talking about. In director Patty Jenkins’ new DC Comics movie Wonder Woman, we meet our heroine, Diana, portrayed with grace, strength and utter conviction by Gal Gadot. As a child, Diana yearns to train in the ways of the warrior. Her mother, Queen of the Amazons warns her, “You will understand why war is nothing to hope for,” giving us a glimpse of what’s to come. Diana’s halcyon...
Liberty at the Movies: Logan
Logan is the first super-hero/comic book blockbuster of 2017 and boy does it set a high bar for the rest of the movies coming this year! The latest entry in the X-Men series, Logan is Hugh Jackman's swan song as Logan, a.k.a. Wolverine, the character he has played in nine films, starting with the first X-Men movie in 2000. The film also makes the last appearance of Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier (Professor X), the founder and leader of the X-Men. In my not so humble opinion (along with those of many fans) Stewart's Professor X and Jackman's Wolverine are the heart of the X-Men films....
